O Range Rover tem um chassis em escada, tal como todos os Land Rovers da mesma geração, esta etapa chama-se: Remoção de casquilhos velhos e respectiva substituição por casquilhos novos (Genuine LR sempre).
Abaixo, como podem ver, 40 anos depois juntamente com a exposição aos elementos, o estado dos casquilhos não era o melhor, tendo sido necessário técnicas de remoção um pouco mais, digamos, agressivas.
- The Range Rover had a ladder based chassis, as do all Land Rovers from the same era, this stage is called: Removal and replacing old bushes for new ones (Genuine Land Rover, as always).
Below, as you can see on the photographs, 40 years later combined with nature´s course, the condition of the so called bushes wasn't the best, we were forced to use methods of removal, more aggressive than usual.
Nas fotografias abaixo, os tirantes da frente e de trás, já com os casquilhos novos aplicados e prontos a serem montados correctamente no chassis.

Mais um irmão que se juntou também à festa, um Range Rover Classic de 1988 equipado com um motor 2.4VM, cor original Chamonix White, aguarda um restauro semelhante, embora não tão extremo como o meu.
É com muito prazer que acompanho o seu restauro. Não estou sozinho.
- Another Range Rover has joined the herd, it´s a 1988 Range Rover Classic 2.4VM on original Chamonix White body color. It will also go through a comprehensive restoration, although not as extreme as mine.

Note-se o chassis praticamente concluído e a montagem das primeiras peças.
